Drivers must have a valid driving license to operate the vehicle. Drivers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian in the vehicle with them while they are driving.
We want children to be safe, first and foremost. We recommend a minimum age of 12 for participants as we do not stock youth-sized safety equipment and children must be able to sit forward facing and use a standard lap and shoulder belt without a booster. We stock helmets adult size XS (52cm in diameter) up to 3XL.

Experienced drivers love our tours. Because we only offer small group tours, the guides are really able to tailor the experience to the guests’ ability levels. Our guides have designed an adventurous course that covers pretty much every type of desert terrain -- technical sections with climbing, rocks, steep descents and more, and speedier sections including gravel washes and sand dunes. Don’t take our word for it – definitely check out our reviews and videos from the website to get insights from other guests about what to expect.

Yes, guests who wish to operate the vehicle must present a valid driving license on the day of the tour. International driving licenses are accepted.

You can generally plan on pick up being around an hour before the scheduled start of your tour time and we suggest you also allow the same amount of time for the return. We are located approximately 25 minutes ride from the Strip and there may be other pick ups for your tour. The shuttle usually arrives on site around 25 minutes before the start of the tour, allowing guests time to complete paperwork and be fitted for safety equipment before the tour starts.
If you request a pick up, you will receive an email the evening before your tour with a 10 minute pick up window and a location for pick ups at your hotel. These emails are generally sent around 6pm.

Yes, just indicate you do not need transportation when completing the online booking form and we will automatically send you driving directions to the tour departure point in your confirmation email. If you choose to drive yourself to the meeting point, please note, you must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the tour start time to complete the registration process. The guide will not hold the tour for late arrivals. DO NOT use the office address listed for the company on Yelp and Google – our tours depart from a different location. Las Vegas only gets about 4 inches of rain a year so rain days are rare around here. If it’s a light rain, we generally operate as normal. If the guides determine there is a safety risk due to flash flooding or lightning, we will contact you and attempt to reschedule your tour if possible, or provide you a refund.

If you contact us more than 24 hours before the start of your tour, we will provide you with a full refund if you need to cancel your tour.

We recommend wearing closed toe shoes with good traction as there are rocks and cacti on the trail when you stop. Sun protection is highly recommended. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty and/or dirty. Leave jewelry and other valuables home or leave them with the attendant at the departure camp – do not stow wallets or keys in unsecured pockets during the ride! Most of our helmet sizes include a sun visor so guests who do not need prescription glasses may prefer to use this and leave their glasses at home too.

You may switch drivers any time the tour stops. (Generally this is 2x on the 2 hour tour). Anyone driving the vehicle must have and present a valid driving license on the day.

Walk ups are not possible. Guests must book at least 18 hours in advance of tour start time.

We only offer guided tours. Tours are full two hours of driving time and guests drive their own vehicle following a guide along an adventurous course that highlights all the best desert terrain. There are miles and miles of trails out here – we take you right to the best stuff.
